Best Beach Practices

With the weather warming up and the arrival of summer it’s also beach time! Arbre was born out of a beach weekend and so we’re here to share our best practices for the beach. Keep reading to find out our essentials and why!

Best practices for the beach:

  1. Sunscreen - of course you can’t forget the sunscreen to protect you from not only sunburns but also skin cancer and photoaging! Remember to apply sunscreen at least 15 minutes before heading out and reapply every 2 hours, or even more frequently if going into the water or sweating excessively. Bring enough sunscreen to last you and your friends and family the entire day!
  2. Hydration - remember to be hydrating and drinking enough water throughout the day! Dehydration can cause fatigue, confusion, dizziness, and irritability. It’s important to stay hydrated when out at the beach because you may be sweating a lot.
  3. Shade - make sure to bring something like an umbrella or canopy to provide some shade from the sun!

This will help to keep you cool and protect you from direct sun exposure. If you don’t have either of these, try to set yourself up under a tree to provide some shade from the sun.
